I’m doing some testing with the camera on a path, I have the camera tracking an empty which in turn is parented to an object, the camera is also following a path. It works very well, but how do I add points into the path?
I can subdivide the initial path when it’s new, but subdivide doesn’t appear to work on any extrusion of the path. Am I missing something or is there a trick to this?
You have to select the points between which you want the subdivision to occur. If you have extruded the curve; select the last 2 points and subdivide, this will subdivide that segment.
Ah! Ok, I understand. I’ll give this a go when this render has finished.
This wasn’t actually the problem, but I posed my question badly.
What I actually wanted (now knowing a bit more about it) was more frames on the path, not nodes/verts. I found the frames section in the properties and weyhey, problem solved.
