I’m using a plugin called “Turok EX Tools” which makes a bunch of meshes in the scene collection. The goal is to animate them so they can be exported as a .MD2 or .MD3 for a video game mod I’m making. The problem is that I cannot figure out how to do this.
You can either animation with bones or without. For boned object you pose the bones and insert keyframes. For meshes you move the mesh and insert keyframes.
I’m not sure what you’re animating, but I’d use shape keys if the object is to go in and out or up and down. This way you can control the keyframe influence in the shape key menu. I’m finishing up a trampoline that has to bounce up and down, and it worked really well. Good luck.
