How to bend the limbs of a 3D scanned model?

How do I do this in Blender? I need to correct the pose of the doll, for further work.


3D cursor pivot and proportional editing. Could also try a hook and corrective smooth modifiers.

An interesting hack. Make like in 2D.

It is hard to say without seeing the actual mesh but if the mesh is very high (like over couple hundred thousands), do not use any of those methods, it will be painful.

Create a rough mesh around it, add bone to simple mesh, bend it and use that base mesh to deform using “mesh deform” applied to the main mesh.

how much bend do you need ?
do you need any rotation too ?
