How to bevel deeper and bool bevel-intersection ?

was trying out the parameters of the face beveling, but wasn’t able to get it to have more bevel depth in X-axis.
How is this done ?

Also, there occurs bevel-intersection. To get rid of it i tried the Clamp Overlap, but that just limits the max. bevel Amount.
How is that done ?


Does your object have a non uniform axis scale ?
If so apply the object scale with Ctrl+A

the object scaling is 1 1 1. It was a face and i extruded it and gave this front face a bevel.
