How to bring up 3d manipulator widget, while using keyboard shortcuts.

I want my 3d manipulator widget to appear when I change to scale, move and rotate tool on keyboard.How do I do it?

With the default settings, they doesn’t show up. I had to click on the widget buttons at the bottom to bring them up.

But, I am looking for the scale widget to appaer when I press S, resize widget when I press R.

Technically you are overriding it by pressing a short cut in which case you will use the x,y,z keys and combinations of keys to constrain your movements. The widget is there so you don’t have to use the shortcuts. You also have the option to have all three on together.
