hi, when i render out animations, blender renders them to some obscure folder hidden deep inside my administration folder in win2k, how do i make it so blender will output my renders into a folder that is in the same folder that i put the program in?
That’s easy…
Place your mouse cursor on the line that divides the 3D view window with the menu bar, until it becomes a double sided arrow…
Grab it with your mouse down… You’ll notice that it reveals another window (info window) with some interesting buttons…
If you can’t find it, or don’t understand what I’m talking about, simply press the button with the cross (window type button…) which is the first button from the left, just bellow the 3d view window, on the window’s header bar… You’ll get a menu… then press with your mouse on the " i " (info window I think…), choice…
The 3D view window will turn, into an info window…
You’ll see the buttons I mentioned there…
The one you need is the one that says: “Render:”…
Left click with your mouse on it and fill in the absolute path to where you want your renders to be saved…
Don’t forget to press Ctrl+U, to update and save your choice…
