I love the way we can continually subdivide windows, but how do I close one I don’t want anymore?
I thought of maybe “joining” them, but I can’t get the join menu to come up.
Version 2.56 on Win 7.
Peace,
Bud

I thought to split you drag to the left and to join you drag to the right.
Thank you, Ed!
That was a great help. It’s tricky, but it does work. I’ve found I have to wait for the mouse to change to a cross-hair (not a double arrow as I had been doing) and then after sliding it right into the other window, I have to make sure the window changes to the correct color (gets a little darker in my config), then I release the mouse and – voila! – joined!
Thank you so much for your assistance.

Bud
seems to split you also drag upwards and to join downwards…
