How to combine 2 separate 3d scans of the same person in blender?

Hello,
I have been working with some 3d scan data of a person that i made on polycam. I made two scans the first one i did i forgot to get the person to take their glasses off. so i rescanned, but thescan this time completely didnt capture the bottom portion of the face. So i have cut the eye section out of the one scan and placed it in position on the other. My quetsion is, how do i merge them, filling the gaps between so that i can continue sculpting as one whole model?

any help would be greatly appreci

ated, thank you

I’m going to highly, highly suggest that you rescan with the glasses off and get a complete head… Especially because you’ve noted that in your first attempt, you were able to get a full head.

I am unfortunatly unable to, The person is on holiday and I cant rescan. so this is what i have to work with.

Then join both into into one mesh, retopo that, and use it as your sculpting base.

Check if you can use meshlab to organize the 3D scan files. (Free)

Is that with a boolean union? I tried that but it didnt retopologise. What modifiers would i need to use?
