How to control bone opacity?

Hi folks,

Please take a look at the image below.

This is from a BLEND file that came with an addon i bought (X-Muscle).

You’ll see that the bones are in front & half opaque.

However, I can find no way to control the bone opacity and when i build my own rig from scratch in a new BLEND, i also can’t find any setting for opacity.

Also, If i go into edit mode, shift+D, and drag the new bone to the side, it’s not half opaque, it’s fully solid!

Any ideas? Must be a setting somewhere but i can’t find it! Or perhaps the opacity comes from some custom coding in the X-Muscle addon?

Aren’t they just set to WIRE in the rig’s object properties?

So in object mode the bones are true wireframe, but in edit and pose mode they have a fixed half transparency?

Strange that you can’t control that opacity or have true wireframe in edit / pose!
