How to control water ripples

I am facing a problem with Water Ripples. I am using GRID+ Wave with different options. In the general it is working alright, but when some duck is going on the water surface, I am not able to control the ripples. Can any one please help me for doing that?

Klopes wrote a script to do that called olikas.py (or .blend) but it’s old. If you can’t find it I’ll post it.

I am using wave Modifier only.

  1. wave modifier: StartX=0,starty=0 My Duck is in the Center.
  2. Now duck started moving and after 1 frame Duck Pose X=1, pose Y= 0 How to move Wave StartX from 0 to 1
  3. now in the frame 4 Duck Pose X= 3, Pose Y= 1, How to move wave StartX=3 and Wave startY=1
