Materials are renderer-specific, so unpack your textures into individual files and recreate your materials in Maya after you’ve imported the model.
What file format are you using to export ?
Are you using image textures ?
What materials are you using (blender render, node or non node, or cycles materials)
Have you packed the textures in blender (try packing then unpacking so all textures are consolidated into a single folder)
Hi,
Sorry I thought it was a question of cross platform , my mistake.

Hi,
Thanks for the help. I was watching this video.
This fellow has just export the file to .fbx and when import it to Maya and just by pressing 6 (show texture mode in viewport) it shows the textures in Maya. I know he has definitely done something, if not skipping any step.
Anyway thanks for the support, and sorry to put it in the wrong forum.

Priyankar
Anyone ??? Everyone is welcome though … :eyebrowlift:
