I’m having a problem understanding how to create action strips.
If i create animation keyfames in the main timeline how do I take parts of that animations to break up into actions? I can only seam to make one action that uses all the keyframes.
Or am I doing this wrong.
Heres a screen grab showing some keyframes I want to turn into an action strip.
I can’t find a way to turn the yellow selected keys into an action strip.

You create an action strip from an action by pressing Shift-A, or with the Strip menu in the action editor.
You can not create an action strip from different actions. If you want to control several actions at once you can use an action constraint.

Yes I’ve be playing around a bit and I think I understand better now.
I cant use part of an action to create another action (shame that would be neat).
I realised if i press the x next to an action I can now create a new one, and copy the poses from the part of the action I need.
