Hello. Although many years have passed since your publication. I have seen that they use foam in the pepakura program, not paper but foam, the foam option in pepakura. I can use this as a shoe last or I can use this mold to edit it in clo3d which is a clothing program. I also dedicate myself to textile manufacturing. You probably already know about these programs but I wanted to comment on this here.
