How to Customize the Display Order of Addons in Blender's N Panel?

Hi everyone!

I’ve noticed that in Blender, all addons in the N panel are automatically arranged (usually in alphabetical order). However, when I have many addons installed, the order gets cluttered, making it difficult to find my frequently used tools.

I’ve tried the following:

  1. Manually dragging the categories in the N panel, but it doesn’t seem possible to change the order.
  2. Checking Blender’s preferences, but I couldn’t find any related options.
  3. Searching for addon management tools, but none seem to offer a feature to reorder the addons.
    4.Searching on https://extensions.blender.org/add-ons/, but I couldn’t find any results addressing this issue

So, my question is:
Is there a way to customize the display order of addons in the N panel?

I’d appreciate any suggestions or insights. Thank you!

I searched for N panel but never found this solution article. GPT also didn’t help me find this article. Oh my god! Fortunately, you saved me.

By the way: try typing “organize n-panel” in the top right; :mag:–icon… no GPT needed :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
