How to duplicate a layer or layer group?

Hi,

how to duplicate a layer or layer group? I tryed right click on layer and and layer group, but there is no option. Shift + D creates a new object, but i don´t want a new object, i want both eyes in one object.

Select the layer to duplicate and use the down arrow drop menu.
I don’t think you can duplicate a grease pencil layer group right now.

Why not duplicate the object (Shift+D) and join (Ctrl+J) the copies? The resulting object will have copied layer groups.
