hi
how do you export a movie from the sequencer?
i have a movie made out of few movie clips and
tried to export it. i tried out the do sequencer for
animation but blender skips 90% of all the frames
so i am not sure if that is the way to go.

Hmm, I export from the sequencer all the time and haven’t experienced any “skipping frames”.
With all of your clips loaded, when you press ALT-a, do they all play smoothly?
The “ALT-A” / play the frames is a known issue to make the sound work with clips, I don’t know if it does anything or is necessary prior to exporting, but you might try that and see if it makes a difference.

mh how do you export? how do you save it as a new movie?
and can you stretch the movie?
Haven’t trried “stretching”
… hmm just tried strecthing a clip … just seems to hold the last frame though.
Mike
Blender does not frame stretch nor compress. see wiki on using the composition input image node. Notes there apply to sequencer as well.
cekuhnen: click Do Sequence and then ANIM. check your frame rate etc although if all you input avi’s are at the same fps, then there wont be any skipping.
ah i just edited the ipos and rerendered!
was faster
