How to find out how many meshes are in a Blender file?

I have a scene that has many objects that share meshes between each other. The whole scene has around 500 objects and more than a hundred different meshes. But I would like to know exactly how many meshes my scene has. Is there a way to do it from the UI? What about the console?

Thanks a lot for your time. I’'l appreciate very much any help you could give me.

Go to Outliner > Display Mode > Blender File, that should have the info you need

Thanks, but that view shows up to 99, and then it shows 99+. And my scene has more than a hundred.

ah, my bad :scream:
internet says: “Switch to Data API mode”, that one has numbers

Open “Python Console”.

len(bpy.data.objects)

or

len(bpy.data.meshes)

This one works! Thanks a lot!
