when I try to add the object into the Fspy image I get pixelated like this

That looks like you have a problem with your graphics display…Have you checked and installed the latest driver for your system…
Hopefully, it is only a driver issue… 
Does this only show up only in FSpy? and not in Blender or other 3d software?
Windows or something else? Did you use the installer or the Zip file to add FSpy main program?
You might try uninstalling FSpy and add with the zip file, to a folder of your choice and see if that fixes things…
