How to get bone list... or whatever

Is it possible to get a specific bone?

I know you can do this

 
cont = bge.logic.getCurrentController()

obj = cont.owner

sce = bge.logic.getCurrentScene()

object = sce.objects['object']

but how can I do that to get an armatures bone?

I’m not sure if the BGE uses different data than “regular Blender” but the bones are part of an Armature object. Armature.bones are a list of the bones that you see when the object is in ‘edit’ mode. If you have an animation or pose defined then the Armature will have Armature.pose that contains another set of bones that represent the data required to move a bone from the edit/rest position to the current pose position.
