how to get to camera perspective viewport?

Hi,
I am using Blender 2.49 and following a tutorial that requires loading a background image into camera perspective view. I can’t seem to find a camera perspective viewport. Every time I go to camera view (NumPad 0 or the view menu), it goes to camera ortho view. Can anybody tell me how to get the viewport to camera perspective view? Thanks.

Use numpad 5 to toggle between Orthographic and perspective view

Thanks, I can get to either User Ortho or User Persp by using the numpad 5 key, but I can’t get to anything but Camera Ortho. If I am in Camera Ortho view and push numpad 5, I get taken to Top Perspective, not Camera perspective. I also have a sample file from the tutorial with the viewport in Camera Perspective view and from view in this file, I can’t get to Camera Ortho. Could it be a setting somewhere in the camera properties?

I found it. :slight_smile: All you have to do go to the camera properties and uncheck Orthographic. The camera will change to Perspective and the viewport will say Camera Perspective instead of Camera Ortho.
