How to get transforms of object in constraints?

I have an object that moves and rotates as a result of following a target of constraints (limit distance and tracking) applied to the object. No matter what the new position of the object under constraints, its transforms in “object” tab doesn’t change. How to know the object actual location and rotation?

One way would be to parent an empty to it while it had no transforms or constraints, then unparent the empty with keep transform while it did, and look up the values on the empty.

The “match transforms” addon is especially handy for this, as you can skip all that, and just match the transforms of any object with an unparented empty.

But the ideal answer is really going to depend on why you want to do that.

It worked immediately. You made my day.

You can also get the actual location in Python with
“matrix_world”.
