How to hide mesh from Camera but it's still blocking the light?

Hai, how to hide mesh from Camera but it’s still blocking the light in the rendered scene?

Without a blend file to look at it’s impossible to see what you’re seeing.
Is the object on a layer that’s off, or is it just hidden? If it’s just hidden, is it set to hide in the render?(in the outliner the eyeball hides it in the viewport, the camera hides it in the render) Have you done anything to disturb the default render layer setup?

Without even a screen shot there’s no way to know anything about what the problem is.

may be move it to another layer not visible

happy cl

Hi

Select the mesh…In Properties - Panel Select Object Tap - In Cycles settings Untic Camera.

This will hide Your mesh in Your render and block the light… You can see it in viewport mode…But in Render it’s hide.

OK thanks. But lately I still see it through Glass BSDF material. I take the screenshot for the following problem.
This screenshot from inside the room:

And this screenshot from outside the room:

And you can see the reflection of the invisible Emitter mesh in the window glass.
OK, I can hide it from the camera and now how to hide it from Glass BSDF material?

Ok thanks, I can hide the wall mesh from the camera but keeping the light.

Easiest fix I know is replace the mesh with an area light, and turn off its multiple importance.
