How to Import an OBJ with MTL into Cycles?

Hi,

I have imported an OBJ with the MTL and it will show the textured model in Blender (what a sense of achievement), but as soon as i choose “Cycles Render” the existing textures vanish in the viewport and it seems you have to assign them again from scratch in the way Cycles work (even tho they are still visible in the outliner from Blender). Something which can be quite tedious work, but i just simply want to do visualisation and not be busy assigning 100s of textures again.

Anything that can be done about this?
