So often Times i have the Issue that my renders don’t quite look realistic and i struggle to really figure out why. It could be an Issue with the Material-work or Lighting but as mentioned i can’t point it out. I would appreciate tipps for this render specifically but also just general Tips how to improve on realism.
Imperfections. (scratches, fingerprints, dust, athmosperic fog, depth of view,… endless) Often this is composed in post prod. But anyway: This looks good.
Indeed, as Okidoki mentioned. When we’re talking realism and imperfections, it does not mean, everything is always old or worn, but the best way to add that certain extra, is a variety to the pureness of the texture. A few scratches maybe, even for the leather, maybe some edge wear for the copper parts.
The glass looks good, but maybe, just maybe, in real life, these glasses look a bit darker, less reflective, however it is only my impression.
Apart from that, it really is a great render, so all the above is just extra, it seems really nice already
Thanks, i mean i think there is no clear or obvious answer to my question anyways, but i try to get it as good as possible so i’ll try out some of the suggestions you made and see how it turns out
Appreciate the Suggestions and im going to try some of them especially for the leather because it seems a little to clean and i may add some dust as u recommended
Thanks for the Tips and the compliment
