I am trying to install the gimp normal map plug in on linux. I download the source and downloaded everything the install file said to, but I cant get it to work. I really have no idea how to compile source code, so please be detailed. Thanks for any help.
If you happen to be using Ubuntu, install ‘gimp-plugin-registry’ it includes the normalmap plugin along with some others.
