I’ve download the photoshop plug-in and the release for Windows, but it’s only bin, include and lib inside…
I don’t know about the Photoshop plugin (it should really just enable loading/saving this format), but the bin, include and lib folders probably contain source code files to the format library (which basically enables you to make apps that support OpenEXR. Since it’s a file format in itself (like .blend), it cannot be “installed”. You use it with applications (or application plugins) that support it.
If you click the right link you’ll get zip file with just one file, the EXR photoshop plugin…you apparently downloaded the sources.
I try to put the photoshop plugin in directory, but when I launch Photoshop I’ve got a msvcr**.dll error…
Search for that dll on the net and install it.
…ok, I put msvcrt10.dll on /Windows/System, and now it’s working.
Thanks.
…maybe I’m wrong but…will openEXR format will contain the different passes wihen the multipasses rendering will be enable ?
