When I go to Quad view, I want all the views to zoom in or move in relation to each other, linked I guess. Mine isn’t doing that at the moment and I can’t locate the option for turning it on or off although it must be there somewhere right?

Quad view options are in the properties panel under display. The feature you’re after is “box” under the lock option.
