how to keep the shape while falling down in the air?

the cube cracked out in the air while it is falling.
is there any way to keep the shape until it touches to the floor.

Just a little work around, but also way less complex in brick-terms etc. ;D

EDIT: You will have to make the cube more fall-like in its velocity behaviour, for testing purposes i prefered a rather slow movement so far.

EDIT: Ô and to avoid any questions, a short explanation…
The Cube falling is one usual Cube as Rigid Body with a Touch Sensor in its Bricks. As soon as it touches something the Object is “ended” and at the same time the several shard get added, you’ll see it. The shards are, all together, on the second layer in the center (z=0.0) and also removed all of their logic bricks, since they are not neccessary anymore.
