how to make a jigsaw puzzle piece

I’m looking for a way to make a jigsaw puzzle piece. I need to have it with clean faces, so making it with “curve” and convert it to a mesh is not an option, i think. The difficult part is to make the hole on one side.

Does anyone has a proper solution?

I would create a series of curves and extrude them out either-side to create clean faces both ways. One set for up another for down and join the two together. I’m not sure if this is helpful or not, and this is just speculation as I don’t really have time to try it out myself.

You will need to use (bezier will be best) Curves, but you don’t need to convert to mesh; curves render just as well.

Thanx guys,
I will use bezier curves. I need to make some relief on top of the piece, but that can be done by a seperate object and parent it.
