I seem to remember in the Blender 2.7 builds that I was able to set a lamp (sun lamp specifically) so that it only makes a shadow, casting no light. I don’t see this option in 2.92. Is there a way to do this in the latest version of Blender?
What’s the point exactly? Can’t figure out any real life situation where this would happen.
I agree that does seem rather unrealistic.
Unless maybe you have the sun or another light source shining onto the lamp and you want the whole lamp to cast shadows.
I’m using UPBGE 0.3.0 to make a game. The idea is to have a sun lamp that’s a child of the character, directly above it so that the shadow is always directly below.
