I want to make one as a volumetric atmosphere, but I have no idea how. Any suggestions? I’m using Blender 4.5.2 for this.
Above is an example of the Earth’s atmosphere in Gravity (2013). These are very distinctive for their smooth atmosphere that kind of stretches into a smooth gradient falloff. The smooth gradient falloff atmosphere is smooth, but a lot. Cycles can do that, while EEVEE can’t do that.
This isn’t Google, when you ask questions here people are going to ask follow-up questions to accurately help. If you don’t want that, there’s plenty of chatbots that will happily give you a probably wrong answer but won’t ask follow-up questions

Doing some little research might even be answereing some questions in the future already and so you can asked exactly that part you couldn’t understand yet or which may have changed because of newer blender versions doing it slighly different.
You can begin by using cycles rendering engine if your PC is decent enough and isn’t outdated, my blend file project has an accurate volumetric atmosphere scattering, the falloff is also physically accurate.
Earth’s atmosphere isn’t like that, technically the atmosphere density gets thinner exponentially starting from 0 to 100 km altitudes. So it has more of an exponential falloff, feel free to experiment with my blend file project. Note that the starry background i added in composite tab, because i had enabled transparent background in Film settings.
Here’s my live preview, i’d recommended you disable the clouds mesh and only enable it when you want to actually render it, because it’s the reason why my performance is so slow.
