This is a work in progress. I’m going to put two tesla coil bulbs, one on each side, and I’d like to make some nice convincing lightening between them. Whats the best way to pull this off? A bonus would be if I could animate it, but a still-life would be good.

That’s ok, but what if you want animated lightning, such as a tesla coil or force lightning like in Star Wars?
After Effect’s advanced lightning works well, but if you don’t have that… I don’t know…

Well, you could use the techinque in the link above and simply animate the vertices of the guide path.
Or you could press the automatic lightning button. Haven’t you got the build with the auto-lightning button?
