How to make rug with image pattern?

Any tips on how to make a realistic rug with an image pattern?
Had searched on youtube and google, didn’t find any sources on it.

This immediately came to mind (https://docs.blender.org/manual/en/2.81/render/shader_nodes/input/texture_coordinate.html#properties). I made a sample. The empty controls where and how (size, rotation) the image is displayed. If you want the textures only on the ends of the strands, assign only that material to the ends.
