How to make same instance appear on many objects at once?

As I understand Blender way properly I have to do Alt+D clones and parent +copy location to to each of target objects. It’s a hell of outliner mess and lots of tedious job. Especially if all the taget objects have it’s own rig and deformers .

Is there a workaround for this? maybe instansing on certain material or something, certain collection maybe?

Geometry nodes maybe?

I am not sure geometry nodes are helpful since it’s all turns into single object at export and I need instances exportable in fbx.

ps, hm. sometimes I do can make them “real” , other time can’t . Still it doesn’t fix my issue
