I want to make an array of a plane. I want to have the propellor spin on each plane. I need or want to merge all layers except the prop. here is a screenshot of the layers. I can’t figure out how to get the wings geometry into the hull geometry. Any help would be appreciated.
I believe the operation you are looking for is JOIN.
Be aware that if you join into an Object with Modifiers applied, the new, joined object will (most likely) have the Modifier applied and if the mesh didn’t before, it might look different.
I’m not sure what happens if you’ve got Modifiers applied and join into an Object without modifiers applied: does the Modifier get removed?? Is it Applied then Joined? Research must occur…
