I’m making this model, and each side has mutliple faces that I want to combine into one.

It looks like that on both sides. See how there are three faces on the side of the gun? Is there a way to combine those into one or does it have to stay like that?

Select and Edge and X / dissolve.

Note that in your case you will not be able to make a single face, blender does not allow single faces to have holes in them.

Thank you so much! I merged two of the faces so now it is just two faces, but do you know how to make it so it doesn’t look so strange in smooth shading? Or will that be fixed once it has texture?

Yes, a hole in a ngon is impossible currently in Blender (maybe one day as i remember the devs mentionning it should be possible at some point), unless you make 2 supporting edges for it (you can make more if you wish, but not less than 2)
In your screenshot, you will be able to dissolve 1 of those edges as you have 3 to support the hole, but not more
