How to model a vintage scuba suit

I’m quite new to character modelling, so I would love some tips and resources on how to model something like this:

You could start from a default Cube and use modelling tools described above to get at least some results to further be a bit more specific to your Blender related problems and questions.
If there are none while you get the initial rough shape then proceed to what is described here:

Depending on what’s the intended outcome you could apply retopo process and UV unwrap/texturing or check for the mesh errors and export model for 3d print.
