How to model cold brew bottle?

Hi i need to model a cold brew bottle but this type of , but the shape is so hard for me to recreate and i havent found any free one on the internet could you please help how to model this shape ?

What have you tried so far?

It’s quite a basic shape, you should be able to model that after watching pretty much any half decent course of beginner tutorials about modelling on YouTube or elsewhere online. I think it might be more efficient for you to just watch some video tutorials to get the basics out of the way. It’s easier when you can see every action done while people answering in writing might not describe every basic thing in such detail.

Just scaling a cube, inserting and moving loops and elements around with Subdivision surface modifier added will be enough as far as technique goes(assuming you are talking about the shape of the bottle)… The cap is also just moving and scaling edge loops around a cylinder and extruding the dents on top…

Without having to think about it, model it by thinking that it creates a cross section of the bottle.

Subdivision surface modelling might be easier starting with something round for the neck so probably 6 sided “circle” so that you can scale 2 opposite verts down to flatten it:

Just extruding, moving, scaling and inserting loops. Really easy and fast.

Hi, first of all thank you so much ! actually i’m using blender for almost 2,5 years and watched so many tutorials out there but the problem is when i see some shapes it’s complicated for me to recreate it in blender even this basic thing and i feel so bad that i can not think of it. what would you suggest me to improve more subd modelling ?

You should know what modelling functionality is available really well and then just practice.

Practice on simple stuff. I would advice maybe something that you can finish in an hour or few or less. It doesn’t need to be all endless suffering. It should be fun too, easy is OK as long as you model it really well. You should have plenty of reference photos or/and access to the actual physical objects that you choose to model for practice. While practicing you gradually learn to recognize the forms and what modelling techniques atchieve those forms. It doesn’t matter when you don’t come up with the idea/workflow on your own, as long as you find a way to atchieve results, you should feel good about it. I think feeling good about it is important. Certain amount of frustration is very hard to avoid anyway.

Oh, and please don’t use subdivision surface modelling for everything. It’s just one way to model some things.
