Thanks for the link, Hazaa. I’ve been wondering the same thing.

ok so what you are after is a philips head of a screw i done a quick tutorial for you

No.1 from the default cube select all faces > press ‘W’ subdivide multi > number of cuts 4
No.2 press the tosphere button in the meshtools
No.3 from the side view delete the lower faces that are selected
no.4 slect the bottom edge loop and press ‘S’ to scale then press ‘z’ followed by ‘0’ (number not letter)
No.5 select the faces shown press ‘e’ and choose region right click mouse to not move extrusion
No.6 press ‘s’ and then enter 0.9
No.7 with the same faces still selected press ‘e’ and exture the region by -0.25 in z axis
No.8 press ‘s’ and then ‘z’ follwed by ‘0’ (number not letter)
No.9 final with subsurf level 2 and set smooth applied and the centre polly move down a bit in z axis

Note: you might get away with not using so many subvide cuts at stage 1 if you dont want so many polygons but you get the idea of how to do it.

WOW!, Thats a nice tutorial! :o
THANKS! :stuck_out_tongue:

Now I can FINALLY continue with my guitar…
