How to Move Multiple Objects Between Scenes?

Hi All,

With multiple objects selected, I’ve tried copy-paste, but when I hit Ctrl-C, I get a context menu. None of the options in the menu sound like “just copy everything.”

I also tried drag-n-drop in the Outliner. No go.

Is there a way to move multiple objects at once between scenes?

Notes:
I’m using Blender 2.72b
The same things noted above happen when only one object is selected.

Ctrl+L to link objects to another scene (or drag in the outliner from one scene to another). To then make them a single user use shortcut U

Ctrl-L worked, but…

The objects I moved didn’t seem to need single-user-ing, if you know what I mean. I can manipulate them in both Object and Edit Modes and after I deleted the originals, they were still there. So, I’m unclear on why the extra step (shortcut: U) would be necessary.

Also, as I mentioned in my OP, drag-n-drop in the Outliner doesn’t work. And the Outliner doesn’t scroll as I’m dragging, anyway, meaning that both object and scene would have to be visible for this to work, if it did work, which it doesn’t. If that makes any sense. :slight_smile:

But, at least the problem is solved for now except for the lingering questions. So, once again, Richard, thanks.
