How to randomize object transform - but in local coordinates

So I have trillion screws on a dashboard / cockpit - and object transform randomization works apparently only in global coords.

How to randomize screws rotation - but in local coords? Any ideas?

Change your pivot point to Individual Origins. Hide everything but your screws- select one of them. Turn proportional editing on, change the falloff to random. Increase the radius so it covers all the screws. Rotate your selected screw- voila
