How to relax UVs in Blender?

I’m unwrapping a fork. I tried to use the Unwrap command, but the result was wonky, so I chose to Project From View. The shape is nice, see image. But there are certain faces that are perpendicular to the view plane - I marked some of them in red. How to relax these UVs so that all the perpendicular faces stretch themselves out a little?

G = grab selected points then move mouse

Space --> minimize stretch?
