How to render a color-corrected video? - 2.80 Alpha 2

I imported an AVI video for color-correction. It’s done, now I don’t see how to render a video file out of this in 2.80 Alpha 2?

Thanks guys

Just to bring this to a closure… here’s the answer:

  1. Go to the Properties window, then the Render tab, then the Output dropdown, and finally File Format. Change the file format to AVI JPEG ( for some reason FFmpeg video will only render a black image).
  2. Above that, still in Output, where it shows: “/tmp/” click on the far right folder to choose where you want your new video file to be saved.
  3. Under the Render menu (upper left) choose Render Animation (Ctrl F12)

That’s it!

It seems I spoke too soon.
When choosing AVI JPEG, the resulting video won’t have audio.
I think this means that the right choice would be FFmpeg video. Except when I choose that it only renders a black image file.
Can someone say how to have audio with AVI JPEG, or how to render an actual video file with FFmpeg video?

Thanks guys

I added a Speed Control effect modifier, and I synched the audio and the video strips, and that seemed to have done the trick. Now the video is rendering.
