How to render a mesh in local view Blender 2.8

Hi tere,

I need to isolate a mesh from all the other objects that are in the scene. To do that I usually hit “/” on the numpad. The problem is that when I switch the viewport shading to render, it just shows all the meshes. I know I can hide the other meshes, but I’d like to know if there is a way to switch the viewport shading to render also in local view.

Thank you

Check the latest video by Pablo Vazqez. There’s a new feature in 2.81 to do just what you are looking to do, (Cycles) render in local view.

Perfect, thank you

I’m not finding it – link please?
