How to render different pass of a vdb volume (velocity, normal, depth etc...)

Hello everyone,

I would like to render different passes of smoke for which I obtained a VDB cache. However, it is not possible for me to render the Z, Normal, and Velocity passes as in Vray. I tried to work around the problem by remeshing the volume with the geometry node to get a Normal and Depth pass, but I haven’t yet found a solution to bypass the Velocity issue.

I can’t retrieve the attribute in the shader even though it is present in the VDB.

I was wondering if anyone has solutions or ideas to overcome this problem? I thank you all in advance for your help and responses.

So, you can’t even see the attribute by plugging it directly into the volume output of the material? If so, that’s weird, it works fine with smoke sims made in Blender.
