Happy to see that FreeStyle lines are rendering in Evee as well as Cycles.
But how do I stop either of those renderers from rendering the 3D objects’ textured, shaded surfaces? In the old blender, Cycles has a checkbox for “Use Surfaces” that makes this easy. Uncheck it, and you’ll get only your FreeStyle lines, not the objects themselves.
I want that in the beta. Anyone know where it is? I’d love to do this in Evee, but I can settle for Cycles and composite my rendered video later.
Hey just a heads up, I moved your thread as the general: Blender 2.8 forum is for development discussions. Support questions still go in the support section.
EDIT: I just had a look and it appears the feature you are looking for is not available for eevee, but it is there for cycles. Uncheck Surface:
Seems to be working! I’ll let everyone know if there’s a problem with your suggested approach, but if you don’t hear from me again in this thread… that’s a working solution. I thank you, cgCody.
