Hi! Can you please give me advice about how to render refraction and transparency in EEVEE. For now I have an eye with transparency and refraction material. It’s ok when I render the face from front side. But when I render the character from some left or right side then I have bad result (iris becomes white). Check the short video.
Can you please give me an advice how to fix it? In cycles render everything is ok. I also attached the file with the eye material.
In the render tab, you also need to adjust these parameters to make it working based on the scale of your model. I don’t know all parameters you need to adjust besides thickness, because I don’t use Eevee.
But I you don’t make those adjustments you will not be able to solve that problem.
And, sadly, I’m not sure if Eevee will be able to reproduce a satisfactory results at this angle. Eevee refractions work basically with objects placed “behind” the refractive object. So it’s possible that it will simply not work properly as the iris is rotated 90º in relation to the camera. You probably should avoid those angles. I Am not an Eevee expert, though.
