okay, so I’ve already rendered each image out in .png and put them in the blender video editor each video format I try seems to be not compatable with sony vegas… please help

what format/settings should I use

Do you know that you can load your .png sequence directly into Vegas?

but it makes each image like 3 seconds long

Try bringing the image sequence into Vegas this way:

  1. In Vegas, select the Project Media tab.
  2. Menu Project > Import Media…
  3. Navigate to the folder with your image sequence
  4. Left click to select the first image.
  5. At the bottom of the dialog panel, check “Open still image sequence”
  6. Click Open
  7. Click OK on the next dialog. The image sequence should now be in the Project Media Panel
  8. Click and drag this sequence down to your timeline in one of the video slots
