How to replace Basis Shape Key?

Hi,

Is it possible to replace the Basis Shape Key, when you have created a few other shape keys from it? I can’t figure it out… Had a look thorugh some tutorials, but it isn’t mentioned.

Assuming you only want to change the shape and not add verts/edges/faces then yes, you can move things around in edit mode then press W-key>“propagate to all shapes” to have the change affect every other shape. Obviously, you may need to do some tweaking to other shapes if the results aren’t great.

It might be possible with a Python script… I don’t have a specfic reference to one but there have been various Python/Shape utilities discussed in the Python forum.
