How to Reproject Image using Camera Coordinates in Shader Nodes

i rendered a image from my camera and i want to now re project that render back using the same view from the camera and have it align 1-1. I’m using the texture coordinate node and before was using a empty to manually align it but I was having difficulty matching it so I’ve switched to using the camera as the object but the scale is completely off

How can I fix this vector output so the image aligns? My image has a uneven resolution btw.

Reproject what? To what? Align what? To what? What are you talking about?

What is that “it” you are talking about here?

Not sure what you are trying to do exactly but maybe you want to use the rendered image as a background image for your camera and then delete the objects.

You need to do that in the compositor.

Here I rendered the red cube and saved the result, then I deleted the cube and added a sphere, I set the render to “film transparent” in render properties and setup the compositor as shown.

The render of the red cube is now a background image.

Ah Ok, it was not clear exactly you were trying to do.
